What Is Trenchless Sewer Lining?

It is a form of sewer line repair but it is definitely not some antiquated version that has been used for the last several decades. Instead, it is a much newer way of performing sewer line repair that allows us as a company to do several things. First and foremost, we have the opportunity to take better care of you, our customer, because we can get the job done in less time, it costs less to use this method, and it is extremely reliable. What might be most important to you is that we can make the necessary repairs without being so destructive. If you have seen sewer repair being done in the past, you probably remember large excavation machines and a lot of people that were essentially tearing everything up in their path. It almost looks more like a haphazard archaeological dig than anything else. Fortunately, that is a thing of the past and it is no longer necessary for us to repair your sewer line in this manner.

The Process in Greater Detail

Things have indeed come a long way. Today, we can make all the same repairs by digging only two holes. Compare that to digging up your entire yard. Better yet, our holes are only about four feet each in diameter, something that can easily be filled in and even planted over within just a few days. In only a few weeks, it will be difficult to tell where the holes were even dug in the first place. As a proud homeowner or as a business owner who values the way your business looks, this is a tremendous advantage.

What Does This Process Really Mean?

In addition to the aforementioned benefits, there are many other reasons why we have chosen to use this type of sewer repair. It is far more environmentally friendly than the older version of making repairs and that allows us to be a more responsible company. It also encompasses better results. When we do this type of repair, we dig the holes and then we search for problems with a remote camera that goes inside the pipe. Once the problem is found, we can insert a bladder into the pipe that is completely covered in epoxy and resin, which then bonds to the inside of your old pipe. This effectively creates a new pipe and once we have accomplished this goal, the bladder can be carefully pulled back out in the same manner as it was inserted.

Using this process is much easier on everyone involved, especially when compared to the older method of digging up the entire yard and busting sewer pipes with pickaxes for days on end, all so new pipe could be laid in its place. It is easy to understand why this has essentially become the industry standard. If you are considering having sewer work done or you are having problems with your sewer system, contact us right away. The sooner that we can take a look, the sooner we can correct the problem and allow you to get back to your daily life without having it interrupted by sewer problems all the time.
